Make the most of your IABC Golden Horseshoe membership — get involved!

Members of IABC/Golden Horseshoe have the opportunity to expand and enhance their communications skills and practices by volunteering for the association and taking on leadership responsibilities.

Volunteers are the backbone of IABC Golden Horseshoe. The majority of services provided to members are planned and organized by a dedicated and enthusiastic team of volunteers. Throughout the year, we need members to help with special projects, events and committees. Make new friends, learn new skills, try something different and have fun at the same time.

Why volunteer?

The benefits, both personally and professionally, are well worth the time invested. By becoming involved in IABC Golden Horseshoe, members find increased opportunities to meet and network with people in the PR and communications sector, increase skills in a variety of areas, gain experience in areas outside of their everyday activities, and have fun while doing so.

There are opportunities to volunteer for specific events, sessions and workshops throughout the year. Board positions are also opportunities in which to serve. We will do our best to match your requirements with current and upcoming needs. Think about something you’d like to explore professionally and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
